This picture was taken on a trip to Missouri. We were stopped on the interstate because of an accident. Not long after this picture was taken, Bandit and I got out of the car and played in the snow while we waited for the accident to be cleared.

Here's Annie and Bandit with one of their babies from the first litter. Merry was a Christmas present to Vickey's Dad in 1999, hence her name.
But, we didn't know that was how her name was spelled for quite some time. We thought he named her Mary.

When we first decided to keep Lucky, we were concerned about how he and the dogs would get along. Bandit isn't too keen on sharing the love (or food) with Lucky, but isn't mean. Annie treats him like he is her baby. She likes to lick him.

I accidentally hit a cat with my car on 2/20/2006. I went back to check on him and he was still alive. We rushed him to the vet. Unfortunately, he lost his left eye. Since I hit him going about 45 mph, we consider him Lucky to be alive.

PeaPod died a few weeks after I got him. We named one of the puppies from Annie and Bandit's first litter PeaPod in honor of my squirrel.

Poppi is from Annie and Bandit's first litter. He was the third of a litter of 5.

The first two puppies in his litter took several hours to be born. I needed to take my nephew home, so after the second puppy was born, I thought I had enough time to get my nephew home and be back before the third one was born.

Poppi shot out after only 25 minutes! Its because he was so small. He is definitely the runt. Since he popped out so fast, I named him Pop Tart. When my mother-in-law decided to keep him, she shortened it to Poppi.
